Proc Code taking 100% CPU then it got killed in Linux
Hi,
We are having a problem with Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 client on Linux machine.A process while waiting for a pro C code to get the db connection it is unable to take Oracle connection and then taking 100% CPU usage and finally got killed.On searching metalink and OTN this seems to be a bug with Oracle client 10.2.0.1.0 and has been fixed in 10.2.0.2.0 patch.
Shall I upgrade the client version to 10.2.0.2 using patch set for 10.2.0.2 or ask a patch for this bug in Oracle ? In that case I can raise an SR and ask Oracle to give a patch for this Bug .
Would the right option will be to apply 10.2.0.2 Client Patch
