Problems with PHP + Win2000 + IIS 5 + Ora8

Hi everyone.
We're using the following conf:
Windows 2000
IIS 5
PHP 4.3.4
Oracle 8.1.7 connected with Ora9i client
The problem:
we've got this conf working since a year ago, using Ocilogon we connect, request and then Ocilogoff to disconnect. WeÂ´ve got over 2000 users. No problems.
However, since yesterday while connecting, the server seems to crash. When we took a look at it, the CPU was at its 100% and we noticed a lot of php.exe running.
If we restart and use the PHP scripts without connecting it works fine: however after logging 5 or 6 times, the server crash again.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
