Problems with ODBC

Hi,

I have installed Oracle 8i on Windows 2000 Server. On the same machine I need ODBC to version 10g.
I try swap 3 files in $ORACLE_HOME/bin to newest version but now, when I want to add new DSN I have system error 126.
Is there any possibility to add new ODBC drivers on this machine?

Please don't ask why I still use Oracle 8i and why I need install ODBC to 10g. Please just answer is that possible in general.
