problems running cron

Folks,

When I run a cron/at job, I get the following in the logs:

< sunone 3412 a Tue Mar 1 09:49:49 2005 rc=1
! could not obtain latest contract from popen(3C): No such process Tue Mar 1 09:49:49 2005
/home/sunone/dead.letter... Saved message in /home/sunone/dead.letter

cron's contract id is 32 so it is there.
