Problems installing MySQL Plugin

618548Jan 18 2008 — edited Jan 28 2008
Hello,

I'm trying to use Oracle Migration Workbench (running on a Windows 2003 server) to migrate a MySQL 5.0.45 database to Oracle 10g, but I'm getting hung up on trying to install the MySQL plugin.

I've followed the directions o pages 3-13 to 3-14 of the Workbench User's Guide precisely in the guide precisely (first with mysql-connector-java-3.0.17-ga, then trying the same procedure with mysql-connector-java-5.1.5); even tried re-naming the mysql-connector-java-3.0.17-ga-bin.jar file to mysql-connector-java.zip per a suggestion I saw in one forum, but in all cases, when I fire up the Workbench, I get a "No plugins are installed message".

Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
