Problems Downloading 10G Express (Western European) Edition
525918Aug 1 2006 — edited Nov 27 2006Folks...any help would be appreciated. I'm new to oracle and would like to evaluate the 10G express. I'm having trouble downloading the file. I have broadband at home, but it routinely downloads maybe 70 kb and takes my download rate to 100 bytes/sec. I've checked my end and can download from basically any other site. It doesn't seem to matter what size the download is...if it's coming from oracle, I can't get to it. Any ideas?
I'm trying to download the Oracle 10G XE, but the download keeps hanging up anywhere between 33 and 50kb. I've tried for about a week now at various times. The download is redirected to http://download-west.oracle.com. I've tried disabling firewalls but nothing seems to matter. Is there something else I should be doing?
