Problem with using Exceed

amardeep.sidhuDec 17 2007 — edited Dec 18 2007

Hello

My problem is not really with Linux. Still thought about posting it here.

I am having a HP Ux server and using Exceed to connect to it. When I am running Exceed (XDMCP-Broadcast) that server is not there in the list so I am not able to connect to that. I am new to this particular thing. Anybody having any ideas. There is some service that should be running on the server or there is soe problem in the way I am doing it ?

I tried another method also. Connected to another HP server using Exceed (thats there in that list when I open Broadcast). There is display is fine. I checked using xclock. From there I rlogin'ed to the original server then export'ed the DISPLAY. I tried to run xclock over there and it gave

Xlib: connection to "172.21.67.210:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
Error: Can't open display: 172.21.67.210:0.0

Any ideas ?

Thanks
Sidhu
