Problem with UNDO tablespace.

Hi All,

I took over from someone recently and I am trying clear up the mess as much as I can.
I have noticed that the undo tablespace is 100% full in one of the database. Basically they have three undo tablespaces ( undo1,undo2, undo3) and out of this three undo tablespaces undo1 and undo2 are filled upto 100% and the undo3 is 60% full. But when I check the undo tablespace parmeter I see that it is set to undo2, I bounce the database, hoping that it will free up some undo space and I still noticed that it is 100%. I also, noticed that the undo retention parameter is set to way high ( 6000000 ), both combined undo1 and undo2 are equal to 30 gigs.If some one could please throw some suggestions on how to reclaim the space I would appreciate it.
