Problem with Oracle Barcode Bean

Hi Folks,

I've set up my PC with the Oracle Barcode Java Bean as per the instructions at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/htdocs/getstart/examples/BarcodeBeanPaper/index.html. Everything works fine in Reports Developer - I can send the output to the printer and also, more importantly, generate a PDF and the barcodes appear correctly.

However, when the time comes to put the report live on the application server (a Linux machine) things aren't so good. When running the report from a Form and sending it straight to the printer, all is well. However, when attempting to preview it as a PDF the familiar error "Terminated with error: <br>REP-1401: 'beforereport': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred. ORA-39565: Message 39565 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA" occurs.

Are there any extra settings that need to be made for PDFs or is there something else entirely that our systems administrators need to do to get the Bean to generate barcodes into PDFs?
