Problem with newest version of webstart and native libraries

843802Jun 10 2005 — edited Jun 28 2005
We have a Web start application that uses native libraries, and has been working fine on many different machines for over a year. Recently we bought two new machines (both Dell) with Java Webstart pre-installed.

With these machines we are getting a "Unsatisfied Link Error: no xxx in java.library.path" for any native libraries that try and load.

The problem is not the libraries, jnlp file etc, as it works for all the other machines, many which aren't developer machines and so only get thes jars via webstart. Has something changed in the most recent Java Web start releases? All machines auto-update Java. The only vageuly similar symptoms I could see were for bug 6267947 but this might be a red herring.

Has anyone seen anything similar or know what other tests I could do? I'm running out of ideas.
