problem with MS office 2007 mime types in document upload page

Hi everyone,

We're running ApEx 4.0.2 on an 11Gr2 database, configured with embedded pl/sql gateway.

We have a document upload page in our application. The problem is that the mime type for office 2007 (docx, pptx...) documents is not correct. I have added the mime type mapping for these documents in the xdbconfig.xml file manually, and restarted the server. This had no effect, however, so I also tried the procedure described in the following link:

Again, no luck. Does anyone have an idea what I might be missing here?
