Problem with BI Publisher

607373Jul 26 2010 — edited Jun 1 2012
I think I have multiple problems with BI Publisher. What's frustrating is that it was working at one point, and now it's not.

I'm using OracleXE on a Windows 7 machine. When I was done installing BIP, it did not start automatically when I booted up the computer. Instead, I run "D:\OraHome\oc4j_bi\bin\oc4j.cmd -start" (I wisely put a shortcut on my desktop so I can kick it off as soon as I log on). I'd love this to be solved, but it's not my biggest concern.

Once I run oc4j, I get the following in the command window:
Starting OC4J from D:\OraHome\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home ...

The warnings did not happen a while ago, and my Report Queries worked just fine. Now, I get these weird messages and the report queries do not work.

When I work on the report query itself, I can set bind variables as normal and if I click "DOWNLOAD" with XML Data selected, I get the appropriate XML. If I load that XML into the RTF file (BI Publisher Desktop) and run the preview, the PDF is fine. But if I then click "Test Report", I get a data not found problem.

I am running Apex 4.0.0.00.46, if that matters.

Much thanks for any help!
