Problem with Apostrophe

Hello,

I have a simple Input Form that contains a Comments text area. If a user enters text into the Comments field that contains an apostrophe ('), the record will not insert into the table, and we get a ORA-06553: PLS-103: Encountered the symbol " " when expecting one of the following:

Once the apostrophe is removed from the text, the record inserts successfully.

Is there a workaround for this? Im working with Apex 4.
