problem passing lexical parameters from forms to Oracle Report Builder

425405Jul 14 2004 — edited Jul 21 2004
We are developing forms using Oracle 6i that is on a UNIX box. Our web server has version 9i and so does our database. Due to budget, we don't have the option to upgrade our developer software to a newer version so that wouldn't be a solution for us. When we create a form that has lexical parameters, it works in design mode and creates our reports, but when we put it out on the server and try to run it through a web browser, it consistently crashes. When we change from lexical to bind variables, we have no problems. Has anyone experienced this and do you have a solution you have deployed? Everyone in our organization that develops Oracle reports has tried to use lexical's and we have not had any success. Any help would be appreciated. Does anyone know if this could be related to us using IE for our browser instead of Netscape? Thanx
