Problem linking Qt

Hi

I've been trying to build Qt (qt-x11-free-3.1.1) on my PC (Solaris 8). I've tried so far with both gcc 2.95.3 (SFWgcc) and Sun CC 5.5 EA. In both cases, the build gets far as linking uic, where it fails. I have Solaris 9 on order, but I'd like to buy a new hard disk to install it on, so it'll probably be a few weeks before I try it.

I have the latest linker patch installed, and as far as I'm aware, am up to date with public patches. It looks to me as though there is a problem with the linker.
