problem install Solaris using Ranish PM
807557Feb 22 2005 — edited Feb 26 2005Hi,
I posted a question a while back but nobody seems interested in it. So, I'm posting it again with a different subject.
I'm trying to install triple-boot: Windows, Fedora, and Solaris. I had all the partition structure worked out perfectly, and have Windows and Fedora installed fine.
I'm now supposed to use Ranish PM to convert the FAT32 to Solaris Parition so that it won't create x86 boot when it installs. However, Ranish PM requires a floppy disk to copy the Boot Manager over for the whole thing to works (even though I don't need this). Anyone knows any way around this that it won't ask for a floppy disk? since my laptop doesn't have one. In the mean time, I can't change other driver letter to immitate the floppy disk driver (A:).
Any suggestion is appreciated.
