Problem in Max fetch size in VO

Hi all,

I have a problem max fetch size in VO query. I have VO query which results 5000+ rows. when I am using setMaxFetchSize(-1), our system gets stuck. Why is that happen ?. Is there any recommended max fetch value I can define ?.
Is there any reference documents regarding max fetch for VO.
I am using weblogic server.
