Problem in Coherence Comm across machines in 2 Availability Zone (Cloud)
743678Aug 16 2012 — edited Aug 17 2012Hi All,
I have 2 cloud machines across 2 Availability Zones. I tried to join these 2 things in a cluster using Unicast Communication. But it is throwing some exception
I started a cache node in machine A; when i try to start the node in machine B (in different Availability Zone) it is giving the following exception
2012-08-16 20:41:25.251/31.982 Oracle Coherence GE 3.7.1.0 <Warning> (thread=Cluster, member=n/a): This Member(Id=0, Timestamp=2012-08-16 20:40:55.173, Address=10.0.8.244:8088, MachineId=30426, Location=site:AU,rack:Model,machine:cpg-m1t1cpg03c,process:CPG_grid3,member:CPG_grid3, Role=cache server) has been attempting to join the cluster using WKA list [10.0.8.244:8092, /10.0.8.117:8088, /10.0.8.116:8088, /10.0.8.117:8090, /10.0.8.116:8090, /10.0.8.116:8092, /10.0.8.117:8092, /10.0.8.244:8088, /10.0.8.244:8090] for 30 seconds without success; this could indicate a mis-configured WKA, or it may simply be the result of a busy cluster or active failover.
2012-08-16 20:41:25.251/31.982 Oracle Coherence GE 3.7.1.0 <Warning> (thread=Cluster, member=n/a): Delaying formation of a new cluster; IpMontor failed to verify the reachability of senior Member(Id=1, Timestamp=2012-08-16 20:39:07.989, Address=10.0.8.116:8088, MachineId=30362, Location=site:AU,rack:Model,machine:cpg-m1t1cpg01a,process:CPG_grid1,member:CPG_grid1, Role=cache server); if this persists it is likely the result of a local or remote firewall rule blocking either ICMP pings, or connections to TCP port 7
But telnet from Machine B --> MachinA is working. Please let me know what needs to be done
Thanks
