problem accessing external table

Hello,
When trying to access an external table, we're getting the following error.

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEOPEN callout
ORA-29400: data cartridge error
ORA-01891: Datetime/Interval internal error
ORA-06512: at "SYS.ORACLE_DATAPUMP", line 19

Any recommendations?
