Pro*C/C++ Precompiler

166728Jan 22 2002
I am new to Linux and Oracle. My goal is to configure my system to write a small embedded SQL application using C++.

I am running RH 7.2 and Oracle 9i. In reviewing the installation guide, I find that there is a configuration file called "pcscfg.cfg".

In my case, pcscfg.cfg has a path statement that reads:

"sys_include=(/usr/include, /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/2.95.2/include)"

It seems obvious that I need to modify this to point to my GCC files, but I wanted to make sure and see if anyone had the same experience and can tell me how to change it.

Thanks,

Frances
