We are planning to setup RAC environment(Rac One Node - AIX) for one of the prod DB. We need some clarifications regarding network setup
We have a VM environment where dedicated network / non-routable setup can't be applicable .
Is it mandatory to assign private IP's as non-routable network addresses for RAC setup ?
can private IP be same ranges as Public_IPs ? .
Setting up private interconnect is recommendation or requirement ?
What will be impact / consequences if we use private IP's as same range as Public IP's ?
