Priority of columns...

511922Aug 9 2006 — edited Aug 9 2006
Hi,

my scenario is like this:

There are 3 columns in table:

Mobile (has priority 1 )
Office Phone (has priority 2 )
Home Phone (has priority 3 )

1 is the highest and 3 the lowest

Now, I need like this:

If mobile number is present (data in that column) then I need to show only that column as it has highest priority

If Mobile is not present then check for Office Phone and if its present then Display that column only as its priority is 2.

If mobile and office # are not present then check for home Phone and if its present then Display that column only as its priority is 3.

If mobile and office phone is present then show only the column mobile as its has the highest priority... basically, show column with highest priority when it has data in it,,

can it be done dynamically..or its a pure front end issue..

Thx

JP
