We have experienced a number of issues when trying to print to PDF's. The most recent is that the function has just ceased to work. We are currently running this on Linux 4 with OBIEE 10.1.3.2.1. We have created a dashboard/report and when I attempt to print to PDF the browser just hangs then returns a server not found error. A check of the server shows the sawserver process locked at 100% busy and it never goes down again. I have restarted BI, Tomcat and the server to no avail. No one seems to have changed anything that I can see. The print to HTML still seems to work fine from what I can see.

Another PDF issue that has been a problem is that when creating larger reports/dashboard results the formatting seems to go off while printing to PDF. When displaying the results everything looks fine but upon print the results for the columns just seem to shift to the left messing up the format. Once I get the printing to work Oracle suggested trying an earlier version of Acrobat reader to see if that fixes it.

And finally I installed OBIEE 10.1.3.3 on a Window 2003 server and for some reason when printing to PDF it just flat dies when printing to PDF any report/dashboard over about 20 pages.

I just thought I would see if anyone else has noticed these issues. It is probably some obscure configuration issue that we will locate over time.
