Preparing Oracle database before EPM 11.1.2 deployment

JediFeb 27 2012 — edited Feb 28 2012
Hello, Experts!

I am starting to deploy Hyperion EPM 11.1.2 for the first time so I am novice to it and I know Oracle database very slightly. I want to deploy the following components on 1 machine with Windows Server 2008 64-bit:
- Shared Services and Workspace
- Administration services
- Essbase
- Planning
- EPMA
- HFM
- FDM
- Reporting and Analysis

So far I have created 2 Oracle 11.2.0 64-bit databases with UTF-8 encoding: 1) for FDM, 2) for all other Hyperion products. I will not use EPMA interface tables.
*Are 2 databases enough in this case or do I need to create more databases?*

Also "EPM Installation start here" pdf document provides Oracle Database sizing guidelines on page 55:
+"Shared Services & Workspace: Start with 100MB+
+EPMA: Oracle recommends starting with at least 250MB+
+etc..."+
Is it tablespaces that I have to create according to these guidelines?

Thanks so much!
