Hi,
I have a deployment of BI Applications 7.9.6.1 on my AIX platform. Currently the Power Center Admin Console Web Page will not display when I start Power Center ( 8.6.1 ).
When I check the Tomcat logs ( in particular the node.log ) I see the following error
2015-03-01 11:18:23,731 ERROR [Monitor Guaranteed Message Logger Thread] [PCSF_10322] The following error occurred while logging to Log Service: [[DOM_10022]
Election is in progress, cannot complete request.].
This system had been working fine until we recovered it to a DR server on a different network ( it was recovered from a sound backup that had been taken whilst all the live services were correctly closed ). Whilst the node name of the DR server changed from that which was the live server i.e. from inibilive to drbilive, I made the necessary host file change on the server that Power Center is running i.e. the DR server ( this server, just like the live server, is not using DNS, rather simple host file entries ) so that inibilive and drbilive had the same ipaddress.When on my DR server, I get the same ip when I ping both host names on the server itself.
I have also seen other blog entries about have a localhost entry of 127.0.0.1 in the server's host file ( which was already there in my case on my DR server ).
Any advice greatly appreciated,
