Java Programming

Hi everybody,
I have two questions related to Postscript and Java, both are somewhat Swing-related, but the main thrust of them is Postscript, so I hope no one minds. They are:

1. Is it possible to view a Postscript file on a JPanel? If so, how?

2. If the object displayed by the Postscript file can be displayed with additional annotation, is it overkill to write additional Postscript files with that annotation added, if they may or may not be displayed?

If anyone could give me a solid answer on the first question, and an opinion or two on the second, I'd appreciate it.
