We use export of Working repository from our development environment for syncing up our lab environment. The lab environment we use for testing new ideas and to perform patches and upgrades before we do this in our development/test and production. Development is the only environment I can use for this since the "Developer" part of ODI is locked down in test and production of security reasons.
For the normal database schemas to keep track on any changes there I can use datapump to perform a DDL export and easily schedule this to run on weekends when there is no work going on in our Development environment. But when it comes to ODI I have not been able to find any other way then to go thru ODI Studio. Is there any way, SDK or similar to script and schedule a Working Repository export so we can handle out of working hours but without having to do this manually ? E.g to get a consistant Working Repository export I need to do this when no developers are working in ODI Studio and would prefer do get a new export done during the weekends.
Any one having done this or have any ideas if this is possible ?
