Portrait and Landscape in Single 9i Report?

I created a report in Oracle 9i Reports where the Header section is "Portrait" and the Main and Trailer sections are both "Landscape". When the report is output to HTML, the Main section bleeds into the bottom of the Header section and, although the report appears to be formatted in a landscape fashion for the second 2/3 of the report, it only prints in Portrait. Is Reports able to combine orientations?

Also, when we output the report to .PDF file (our preferred output actually), the server "hangs" periodically and needs to be restarted. Any ideas?
