port multiplier (sil3726) does not work with si3124 driver ..please help!!

hi,

i am trying to connect a port multiplier(sil3726) with sata controller (sil3124) which users "si3124" driver in solaris. The driver "si3124" does not support port multipliers. please suggest any alternate sata controller card which works with sil3726 port multiplier. i am trying to build a storage with 45 drives using port multipliers.
