port jvm

I am a developer of set top box of digital TV. We use C to develop embeded applications. But I want to run
java applications in our system. So I need to port a jvm in our system. I have read about CDC but I still do not know how to begin. I do not know what I should write for porting JVM, how to invoke JVM in our system.Can you give me some suggestion?
