Port already in use

Hello,

I recently installed Application Server 10g 9.0.4, but forgot to shut down the old web server during installation (Oracle 9iAS 9.0.3). The installation completed successfully, but the default port number for the 10g HTTP server is now 7779.

I would like to change the default port number to 7778 so people don't need to update their bookmarks, but even though I have shut down the old 9iAS server, 10g refuses to let me change to this port number. It says the port number is already in use.

How can I convince 10g that 9iAS is no longer using port number 7778?
