Ok I am very new to developing in Apex so I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question.
I am developing an Apex page that will run as a web part (basically an iframe window) inside a SharePoint page. This page will have a button that will popup a new window to a new page as a full Apex page. The main page sets some application shared parameters like a date. The popup window is supposed to read the variable that was set to load data based on that date. This is all working fine when the entire application is run as a stand alone Apex page. But when I run the main page inside the webpart the popup window does not see that session variable being set. I am not understanding why? Anybody have an idea about this?
I am running Apex 4.2 with 10.2.0.1 database
