Pop Up A Message

Hi All,

I have Edit Box promt in dashboard Page for EMP ID column.
If i enter the EMP ID then click GO it will Displays the Date related to that ID.

Now i did't enter any value in Edit Box(NULL Value) and Clicked Go Then it has to be display message like

"Please enter the the Emp ID"

Could any one please give me the Solution?
