Oracle Database Discussions

Hi ,
I have created Administrator managed real application cluster database and the database is runniing fine .Then i stoppped that database and created one Policy managed database on the same setup. When i am trying to start the policy manages database i have got the following error.

# ./srvctl start database -d polidb
PRCR-1079 : Failed to start resource ora.polidb.db
CRS-2643: The server pool(s) where resource 'ora.polidb.db' could run have no servers

When i tried to move the server to the pool (raja) where my database is installed , i am getting the following error.

# ./srvctl relocate server -n veyron,skyline -g ora.raja
PRCR-1114 : Failed to relocate servers veyron,skyline into server pool ora.raja
CRS-0217: Could not relocate resource 'skyline'.
CRS-0217: Could not relocate resource 'veyron'.

Currently the servers are in Generic pool.

# ./srvctl status srvpool
Server pool name: Free
Active servers count: 0
Server pool name: Generic
Active servers count: 2
Server pool name: raja
Active servers count: 0

Any idea why i am getting this error. Please note that ocr and voting disks are in ASM . Could any one please tell me how to move the server to the pool (raja) ?
