Java SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition)

I have a IPAQ pocket pc that runs windows ce. I have the Jeode runtime for it. I made a basic applet using codewarrior. When I transfered all the files from the finished program. It runs fine on my desktop computer. But when I transfer it to the IPAQ, all that works is the interface shows up. When I change text in a textfield, it does not change text in other fields like it should. Likewise, when I push a button, nothing happens. Any ideas why it works on a desktop but not a portable? Is there any way to export an app as one neat file using code warrior. Any help would be appreciated.
