Please help in getting Excel.exe path

Hi,
Refering to the thread i've done a progam to transfer data from excel sheet to db

But i want to get the excel path programmatically, not hardcoded
also i want to knoe how i should change the code, if the user's filename contains space

I' using forms6i and db 10.2.0.1.0
Please help
