If a user is assigned a "Planner" access for planning application and he is not assigned access to analytic services access in Essbase and his filter in essbase is switched from read to write access will he be able to Lock & Send in the essbase.

In my case the above is true so i am in a dilemma if the planner access is good enough for the planning application or it gives acess to essbase server as well. When i see the User sercurity via essbase it says that the user have Plnning access However using his ID i am able to lock and sendwithout assigning him analytic services access.

Any help would be appreciated
