Planning to switch our devices from AMR to AMI and implement Advanced/Smart metering solution in CCS

Hi,

We are planning to switch our devices from AMR to AMI and implement Advanced/Smart metering solution in CCS. For this, initially we would like to know if we have enough licenses to the modules/products required for implementing the advanced metering solution.

Currently our subscription is, “Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service – Per Billable Service Customer per Month Part #: B90577”.

Do we need SGG Module to implement Smart Metering solution?
If yes, can we implement with Meter Vendor who is not part of Oracle supported ones(ex: Itron, L+G etc). Do we have any generic SGG Adapter??

Since we had to replace 2lakh devices, it will take 2years atleast to replace the AMR devices with AMI. We are looking to implement AMI devices parallelly with AMR devices in place. Is it Possible?

Any guidance or solutions or suggestions please.
