Planning Provider Error

Hello,

In Planning Ad-hoc using SmartView, when I retrieve large amounts of data I get "Planning Provider Error". I looked at the logs and WebLogic Admin Server console and it seems Planning is running out of Heap memory during huge retrivals. I added statup attributes to Planning Application server through WL Admin Server console to Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m but still got the same issue. I also noticed that even after restarting the Planning service, the Admin console still shows as max available 512m. I even restarted the WL Admin server but no luck.

I am sure a lot of you would have optimized the WL. Am I doing the steps right? Should I be doing something differently? Where can I check to see if the changes were implemented?

Win 2003 64bit
Server memory 8GB
