Planning Deployment fails after running for a long time

For past couple of days, our planning deployment is ending with error:

"PRODUCT_UPDATE: Update from product

Deployment has been timed out. There were no updates from product."

The strange thing is when we check the dimension structure, newer changes in EPMA are reflected correctly in the Planning application. All the while the application shows as "out of sync" under Application Libaray.
