Placing servlet.jar file in JDK extensions director

843842Sep 25 2008 — edited Sep 27 2008
Hello,

my compiler doesn't recognize the javax.servlet package, I think this is because I didn't place the servlet.jar file in the JDK extensions directory ( jdk...\jre\lib\ext).
This is what my textbook says to do.
However, I can't find the servlet.jar file.
I looked in the C:\Sun\SDK\lib\install directory but couldn't find it.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Also, when I try to start my domain I get a message saying that I have the wrong username and password, does anybody know where I can input the username and password?

Thank you.
