PL/sql ping checker

Hi.
Ihave a table.
IP | ID | Status
192.168.12.1 bo123657
......

i need procedure which take ip from this table ping this ip if ping sended succesfull then update status to 'YES' else 'NO'

Oracle version 11g r2
How can I do it.
