Pivot Table: Custom color and text

646090Jun 30 2009 — edited Jun 30 2009
Hi everyone,

I've got a client who wants some very particular layout tweaks for their financial reporting pivot tables. Use the below pivot table as reference.

<Pivot table>

XXXXXX JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN JULY AUG SEP OCT NOV DEC
Actuals
Budget
Prior Year

The report is pivoted by "measure" label in the rows area and month in the column area. My client wants to edit the portion which is labeled "XXXXXX". They want to change the back ground to a certain color and they also want to add text to this area. Since that region is dynamically set based on how many columns are selected, I figured that adding text is not an option. In terms of the color, I think it might be possible if I edit the .css, but I wasn't sure which style sheet it would be in.

Can anyone confirm that the "text" portion is not an option? And if you can recommend an area to start looking for the CSS color change, that would be great too.

-Joe
