pinning the query result

It would be great if it were possible to pin query results from multiple SQL queries, like in the old SQL Developer.

Thanks for the comment/vote! We want to bring over as many features as possible from the old SQLDev, at least the ones that still make sense.

[Note: my emphasis.]

As far as the data grid is concerned in the original SQL Developer, is there any feature which would not make sense anymore?

Ok, maybe that Print button… (But someone will complain the minute you announce it's being removed.)

In general most or all of the GRID stuff will make it over, although some “trick” things like rendering basic HTML, probably not.

Has the ability to pin query results been added - can't see anything in version 24.4.1

Thanks

This would be immensely helpful. We use this feature frequently when debugging production issues.

Not yet, it's on the list for 25.x though!

Query Results and Execution Plans, so they can be compared, side by side.

Excellent :-) when is 25.x due

Every 3 months you get a major drop

if you check the marketplace extension changelog you can see how frequently and exactly when we dropped updates last year
