physical standby error ora-16766 redo apply is stopped.

Hi,

I added a physical standby database using the data guard administration via oem. Initially the installation completed successfully with no errors, as soon as I copied over the schemas (imported) to the primary database I got the following error. ora-16766 Redo Apply is stopped. Any ideas how to resolve this error? Thanks
