Physical Standby Database the archivelogs aren't removed

tmbeetzAug 27 2020 — edited Aug 27 2020

Hello,

we use 12.1.0.2 EE for the database. We have a primary instance and one physical standby. For the physical standby machine, the archvielogs will be removed, after backup.. The archivelogs on the standby system still stand.

dataguard works fine. Maybe i'm wrong but a  "delete expired archivelog" found. So my question the why the archivelogs will not removed?
