Personal Database Recovery

434918Mar 15 2005 — edited Mar 17 2005
I had Personal Oracle installed but my C drive got corrupted and I've had to reinstall it.
I had a couple of databases created and all the files (dbf, ctl, log etc) are intact on my D drive.
I have recreated the tnsnames entry and the listener file with the new installation in the hope I might be able to get the databases running again but I'm getting

TNS-12500 TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process

The service has also dissapeared from 'services' and I've played around with ORADIM to recreate it but with no joy. Any suggestions appreciated though I should say this is by no means mission critical.
