perofrmance of ASM diskgroup

I've got an ASM disk group (with 8 disks) that has (according to OEM) an average response time of 100 ms. The database does a lot of ETL and is used to define reference data.

There are about 9 users, of whom may be 2 will be active at any time - is this response time pretty poor, or typical ? It feels poor.
