Permanently set permissions on the ASM devices

So, I think I did this right but can you confirm?

I set permissions on the "/device" node file to "oracle:dba" and the links in "/dev/rdsk/c8<whatever> are still "root:sys". Is this OK?

Each time I reboot with the reconfigure option the system re sets the permissions to root:sys on the "/device" nodes. Is there any way to avoid this behavior?
