Hi Gurus,

We recently upgraded our most critical PROD DB's from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.2.0

After this upgrade following is the concern:

Enqueue Type || Requests || Succ Gets || Failed Gets || Waits || Wt Time (s) || Av Wt Time (ms)

CF- Control File Transaction|| 177,530 || 177,494 || 36 || 38 || 441 || 11,596,53


Our major concern is the value Av Wt Time (ms) which is shown as 11,596,53 in the AWR report.

Can someone suggest if this value is acceptable for a highly critical PROD DB???

Also, two other major concerns are:

- Buffer Busy wait (ST04): System undo header – avg. time is 966ms that is really bad!

- Wait Events (ST04): Wait events – LogWriter (LGWR) busy wait time 25, 30% is also very bad.

Kindly suggest... wat can be done for the above mentioned concerns.
